Osteopath

A graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, London, Persis has also worked in General Practices in the UK and Switzerland. She has specific expertise working with infants and children as well as pregnancy and post natal related health issues.

Jonathan Wheeler

Osteopath

A graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, London, Jonathan has worked in General Practice in the UK , both in his own clinic and hospital based for the NHS. He has a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of General Practice, including sports injuries, pregnancy and post natal related health issues.

Caron Shallish

Osteopath

A graduate of the Oxford Brookes University in the UK., Caron has developed her clinical experience across a diverse range of patients from young children to the elderly, with a special interest in TMJ conditions and migraine. Caron is engaged in ongoing study in the areas of nutrition, biochemistry and herbal medicine.

Sally McGrandle

Osteopath

A graduate of the European School of Osteopathy, UK, Sally’s sporting background has assisted the development of extensive knowledge in treating sports injuries, including rehabilitation and education. Sally also has specific expertise in women’s health, related to pregnancy and postnatal care and the treatment of infants.

Agnes Sio-Atoa

Massage Therapist

Gaining qualifications from the NZ College of Massage’s Wellington campus (Diplomas in Therapeutic & Sports therapy), this modality has allowed Agnes to assist those in need of muscle and stress release – whether it be increased movement, decreased tension or lightness of mind. Massage services include therapeutic, sports, pregnancy and deep tissue. Agnes has extensive experience with various sporting codes, including regional and national teams. She is a registered member of Massage NZ and an affiliated Southern Cross provider.

Joannes Boele van Hensbroek

Acupuncturist

A physiotherapist and acupuncturist, Joannes has over 20 years experience working in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, and New Zealand with acute and chronic injuries, joint and muscle pain, and sports physiotherapy.

 

A member of the New Zealand Society of Physiotherapists (MNZSP) and an accredited ACC treatment provider, Joannes moved to New Zealand in 1988. He returned to the UK to study at the International College of Oriental Medicine and graduated with a licence in acupuncture after four years full-time study. He is now a Member of the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists (MNZRA).

Diana Hilgert

Acupuncturist

Diana graduated from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (currently known as TAI Sophia) in the U.S. She is U.S. National Board Certified in Acupuncture and has run clinics in New York City and Baltimore, Maryland as well as being on faculty at the TAI Sophia Institute. Certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) she has volunteered with many health initiatives for recovery from substance abuse and smoking cessation.
